Update
Police have arrested two males following an incident in Whitehaven this afternoon (July 28th).
The men, aged 17 and 19, from Whitehaven, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to call 101 with information.
In particular, they are keen to speak to a potential witness described as an elderly man wearing a blue top and blue trousers, carrying a bag, who was thought to have been walking through the park on a path at the time of the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Whitehaven this afternoon (July 28th).
The incident occurred at around 1.20pm in Castle Park, Whitehaven.
The park has been closed while Police carry out enquiries.

A car fire has also broken out on Duke Street closing the road. Motorists are advised to use another route into the town.
