Carlisle Lake District Airport announces launch date...

Earlier today, Carlisle Lake District Airport announced their long awaited launch date for the first scheduled flights to take off from the newly built airport

The airport released a short statement on their Facebook page earlier today:

“We are pleased to announce that Carlisle Lake District Airport will launch with Loganair on Thursday 4 July – marking the first scheduled services from Carlisle in more than 25 years. Routes will include Belfast City Airport, London Southend Airport and Dublin Airport. “
