Popular Lake District music festival postponed

EskFest 2019

A popular Lake District music festival has announced a much anticipated postponement.


EskFest which takes place on the first weekend of July in the idyllic Eskdale valley on Thursday announced that the 2020 festival wouldn’t take place due to the Coronavirus crisis.

In a statement released to festival goers Evie & Thomas event founders and directors wrote

‘It is with great sadness and regret that we have made the decision to postpone this years festival until July 2021.”


”Even though we are still a couple of months away from the event, planning and building for the festival given the current restrictions and uncertainty would be will be near impossible.”

“Words cannot describe the gratitude to all the people who have been involved in this unique, inedpentant and non profit festival this year and all the previous years.“

They finished their statement with

“Thank you for your patience and support we wish you all health, happiness hope for the year ahead” - Tom, Evie & the EskFest team.
