This summer will see West Coast Family Funding Foundation host their third West Coast Fest and it’s set to be bigger and better. The fest this year will see a fun fair, circus acts, family circus workshops and many stalls and vendors. As well as fantastic live music from local talent.
The family day will run from 12-5pm with live music all day until 11 pm.
Festival goers can expect top class entertainment from the likes of The Beatles Boy, The Northern Threads and The Misfitz.
West Coast Family Funding Foundation annually host a range of events and these events support those with additional needs and disabilities. Their events support these people through providing valuable information and advice as well as hosting entertainment and social activities. They also use additional funds generated to offer financial support for families in need.
Clare Farrell, co-founder of West Coast Family Funding Foundation commented; “We started this charity because of the stresses and strains we had to overcome our self as a family, and that’s why all money raised goes straight back into the charity, to help as many families have a little less worry and stress as well as create an affordable and sociable event for our community to enjoy.”
The event which is to hosted on Saturday 8th August, will take place on the site of Whitehaven Miners and Social Club.
